Class 3: Exploring the Virtual World Framework (VWF)

In this assignment, I am exploring 3 different virtual worlds through my browser. All of these worlds are located on the Virtual World Framework, or VWF. The VWF contains several different demo worlds accessible to the public to highlight the capabilities of applications which can be used for workplace collaboration, education collaboration, and many other things.

Overall, while the VWF demo worlds were interesting to explore, there was a noticeable change in user experience compared to the Meshmoon Rocket desktop application. The web-based virtual worlds were fairly laggy, and the graphics were not quite as good as Meshmoon desktop-based virtual world. Also, due to the fact that the VWF worlds are demo versions, there is far less capability as far as manipulating the world and/or the avatar.
